This past Friday, we held our first toy adapting event for the semester! We had about 10 students that participated in adapting a total of 5 battery-operated plush elephants. The toys adapted will be used in the coming days and weeks in our lending program to go directly to schools and programs for students with physical disabilities in Ithaca. We are really looking forward to planning more events like this and expanding our initiative in the coming weeks!
