Big Red APDI Collaborates with Alpha Iota Gamma to Teach Toy Adapting

On Sunday, May 8th, the Big Red APDI collaborated with Alpha Iota Gamma, one of Cornell University’s Pre-Health Societies, to teach toy adaptation to around twelve students. Students worked in groups of two to three and learned about the efforts of the Big Red APDI, the purpose of adaptive toys, and how to make one on your own. Around 6 toys were adapted by the end of the session to be used in Big Red APDI’s lending library. We all had a great time teaching and learning and look forward to continuing to collaborate with AIR in the near future!
